The Variation of Counter-Electrojet Current at the Southeast Asian Sector during Different Solar Activity Levels

چکیده

Studies on counter-electrojet currents (CEJ) using ground data revealed that this current could occur simultaneously among locations are less than 30° longitude apart. In our work, the symmetricity of CEJ variation between west and east Southeast Asia, separated by ~25°, was preliminarily examined according to its types: morning (MCEJ) afternoon (ACEJ). Since most past studies had overlooked occurrence after dusk, monitoring period also extended from 18:00 21:00 LT, namely, post-sunset depletion (PSD). The magnetometer station in Davao, Philippines (DAV) Langkawi, Malaysia (LKW) were chosen represent parts. EEJ index (i.e., EUEL) over periods solar cycle 24 (2008–2018) utilized specifically during magnetically quiet days (Kp < 3). As result, both parts symmetrically showed MCEJ ACEJ positively negatively correlated with F10.7 index. Contrarily, asymmetrically prominent west. types varied season, especially for (at high level), Equinox J-solstice. Post-sunset (PSD) activity independent, as no correlation observed observation. PSD season except Equinox, where it Our finding level part.

the effect of e-64 on the developmental competence of sheep cocs during in vitro maturation

in the present study, the effect of e-64 at different concentrations (0.5, 1, 5 and 10 µm) added to (1) the ivm medium on oocyte nuclear maturation and developmental competence of ovine oocytes, and (2) to the ivc medium on embryonic development of ovine embryos were investigated.

The afternoon counter-electrojet current system along the 75°E meridian during the IEEY

In the present study, the technique of principal component analysis (PCA) is applied to analyze the hourly mean values of geomagnetic field components D, H, and Z along an Indo-Russian chain of stations during the International Equatorial Electrojet Year (IEEY) from January 1992 to June 1993. This technique (PCA) is found to be suitable for separating the normal electrojet (NEJ) and counter-ele...

Meridional equatorial electrojet current in the American sector

Huancayo is the only equatorial electrojet station where the daytime increase of horizontal geomagnetic ®eld (H) is associated with a simultaneous increase of eastward geomagnetic ®eld (Y). It is shown that during the counter electrojet period when DH is negative, DY also becomes negative. Thus, the diurnal variation of DY at equatorial latitudes is suggested to be a constituent part of the equ...
